This is the bragging zone--the place to tell us all about the challenges you have conquered so far in 2013. It's also the place to get linked up for most of the possible prize drawings lurking in the future.
Use the linky to enter your name/blog handle plus name of challenge (example: Bev@My Reader's Block (Challenge Addict); email address; and a link to a post reporting the completion of the challenge.
Ooooh! Two Addicts have finished a challenge already! Woo Hoo!
ReplyDeleteDid you pick up another one to take its place? Hmmm?
Sure, in Feb I picked up 5 new challenges. Not planning to keep adding/replacing; I think 50 challenges are enough for the year :-)
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo - I finished my first challenge!!! Only 11 more to go!
ReplyDeleteYay, Kristin! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteI have finished 3 Challenges. I still have more to go.
ReplyDelete30 finished, 20 to go...plenty of year left.
ReplyDeleteHello! I conquered the promised level in many of my reading themes: including this! That's what you'll see tallied here. I need to write some reviews and update my blog but quantities will assuredly be reflected. Completed declarations won't necessarily be visible right now because I keep upping the anti where hostesses leave room to grow.
ReplyDeleteI usually mark "conquered" on my blog everywhere I've reached my starting levels. Given that it is September, I best polish off the minimums in every group! Yours continuing to enjoy a summer environment, Carolyn. http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2013/09/07/riedel-reading-circles-2013/
Way to go Carolyn! I've completed my initial goal here (16+ Challenges!)--but I still have about that many challenges left on my list. I better get cracking!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm attending to things earlier than I can post on here. Also, I finished many more than I listed but linky' doesn't repeat URLs. I write articles at WordPress and to avoid disinteresting my subscribers with an excess of challenge posts, I do three in one. The same pages, updated, becomes a closing post.
DeleteTo override this, I'll have to do some closing posts, for the specific groups that didn't get into your linky. Until ALL our food is picked clean and snow flies, it'll have to wait. We are blessed with so many tomatoes, the remainder green, we're holding off the last batch as long as possible.
Question? What if we completed challenges but fell a bit short of what we intended to accomplish due to life events that erupted out of the blue!? Can we still count that we completed them, even if the results were not what we were expecting, but we still went through the challenge!?
ReplyDeletejorielovesastory: I will leave it up to you--if you feel like you have completed the challenge then you can certainly count it.
ReplyDeleteBev
33 (of 50) challenges are complete so far...and December holidays are coming up...should provide lots of lovely time to read!
ReplyDeleteI have a single page I am updating with my completed challenges, so I can't link up more than once -- happy to report, I've just finished my 2nd of 9 challenges for the year...not sure how many more I will realistically finish these final few weeks, but will have fun trying!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all our Addicts who have completed challenges so far. Just a little less than a month and a half to go....How many can you squeeze in before the New Year gets rung in?
ReplyDeleteI finished 9 out of the 10 challenges I started for this. The one I did not finish, I read 9 of 12 free books.
ReplyDeleteI finished 35 of the 36 challenges I have taken part in. I admit it. I am a Challenge Addict! LOL
ReplyDeletelist of challenges I have taken part in
I have now finished all 37 challenges--not linked above--Goodreads challenge (which equaled the Outdo Yourself), Christmas Spirit Challenge, and, of course, the Challenge Addict challenge. Congrats to all the Challenge Addicts with all the challenges you have completed! Happy New Year! And a Happy New Challenge Addict Year!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I counted on this of all groups, remaining open a while. I'm absolutely swamped closing out about 42 websites, all using rural dial-up internet. I've been at this since new year's eve.
ReplyDeletePlease contact me if these can be added manually and I'll e-mail the links. Otherwise I'll have to make do with the URLS I have in the pot, qualifying me for whatever the prize may be. Carolyn. http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/riedel-reading-themes/
All right. I won't panic. I see no prize announced yet. It's okay, a relief, to not bother with the 'linky'. I'd have had to have created a bunch of more posts because URLS can't be repeated (I double & triple up). Here is my whole list of reading challenges. I will update it and I declare that I finished each and every one of them. :) http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2013/09/07/riedel-reading-circles-2013/
